The benefits of Postnatal Yoga Classes are:

  • They help restore your body – the poses are geared toward the post-pregnancy body. There is emphasis on the parts of the body that need it the most such as upper back, neck, shoulders, abdominals and the pelvic floor.
  • Rejuvenate your mind – the deep breathing can help calm a tired and overwhelmed new parent’s mind.
  • They are a social network – yoga classes are a great way to get to know other new parents that are going through the same things that you are
  • Ability to look after baby – since everyone taking the class is a mother with a baby, you can feel comfortable looking after your little one when needed, be it nursing or changing a diaper in the middle of class.

Mom and Baby Yoga

Postnatal with baby

An all levels yoga experience designed to connect you with your body and your baby. This class is great for new moms to restore muscle tone and rebuild core strength. This is a nice easy paced and relaxed class which allows new moms to connect with other new moms and gives your baby some interaction with other babies.  Postures for your baby are also taught, which you can practice with your baby at home. Kids Yoga

Kids yoga introduces yoga in a child friendly active way, thru movement, games and activities. They will experience a sense of wonder for the world as the benefits of yoga flow into their lives. The instructor will use Animals, Nature, Affirmations and much more to build self esteem and self awareness. Their goal is to encourage children to be active participants in developing their own healthy, strong, peaceful lives. Trinity Yoga Centre is an environmentally friendly studio which uses only natural yoga mat disinfectants and plant based and biodegradable cleaning products. The directors, Jeff and Sonya bring a wealth of experience to every session. Trinity Yoga Centre offers a wide selection of instructional series, private yoga and drop-in classes.
