Sunday April 22 - 2:00 pm "All About Vaccines - Raising awareness, supporting research" will be held at UBCO (Room 103, Arts Building). Speakers will give presentations on a number of vaccine-related topics, including the history of vaccines, how they work, current vaccine research, and the harms of the anti-vaccination movement. Speakers will also answer questions from the audience. The event is FREE however donations are requested for the International AIDS Vaccine Initiative, whose mission is to develop safe, effective and accessible HIV vaccines for use throughout the world.
